Our vision is to equip VCC members to become informed, responsible partners in God’s work.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’ – Acts 1:8
In our effort to fulfill this mission, we should balance our outreach among local, regional, national, and global opportunities. Borrowing from the geographical orientations in Acts 1:8, our missions strategy seeks to make Jesus known:
Locally (in Vernal)
Regionally (in Uintah Basin & Utah),
Nationally (in the United States), and
Globally (around the world)
Local
VCC mobilizes our congregation to make Jesus known through serving in our local community in areas of need which includes foster/adoption ministry, children’s birthday parties, recovery ministry, Uintah Basin Christian Academy, seminary and more.

Global
VCC supports multiple mission stations or missionaries in their service of evangelism, discipleship, Church planting, fighting sex trafficking and more through a monthly financial commitment, mission trips, service projects and ongoing prayer. The nations that our partners are serving are India, Thailand, South Africa, Cambodia, and Pakistan.
