Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:14-16)

The Student Ministries is a group that is open to all 6th – 12th grade students. Currently, the group meets in three different settings:

lg-youth1st Sunday Youth Rally (7th – 12th grade students):

Youth Rally meets on the 1st Sunday night of every month from 5:00-7:30 pm. Our goal is to meet at a different location each month; from city parks and community buildings, to family homes and church buildings. Youth Rally’s focus is outreach, fellowship and worship. This is the night where everyone gets involved! We have high energy, intense games, a full dinner meal provided for free, worship, a short biblical devotion that is for everyone, and small group times. If this is your first time coming or you want to bring a friend to our group, this is the night to come!

Summit (9th – 12th grade students):summit

Summit is a High School student only group that meets on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Annex (small building on the far east side of campus). Summit’s main focus is discipleship. This is the night where those who really want to learn about faith and what it means to live a life in pursuit of Christ will be challenged to grow spiritually. We still play games, and occasionally make a trip to Cold Stone Creamery, but we place a much larger focus on studying Scripture and discussing how it impacts our lives.

ascentAscent (6th – 8th grade students):

Ascent is a Junior High student only program that promotes spiritual growth and learning. Ascent meets Sunday mornings during service. After opening worship, when dismissed from the stage, we will exit the worship hall and meet over at the Annex Building (small building on the far east side of campus). There are some specific Sundays when Ascent will not be dismissed, and if that is the case, stay where you are and enjoy the rest of the service with your family!

Besides our weekly meetings, the Student Ministries calendar is full of fun events that we hope you will be a part of! Concerts, movies, ski trips, summer CIY trips, Fall Retreats, service projects –  You name it! We’re always doing something together!

Our Student Ministries is led by our Student Minister, Kyle Maune, but it is by no means a one man show! Kyle has gathered some of the greatest parents and adults from the congregation to be a part of his team of sponsors that help keep the ministry running at full potential.

If you are a 6th – 12th grade student, we would love for you to come and be a part of our group! God is doing amazing things in His Kingdom through teenagers all over the world. How will He use you this year in your school, community, or halfway around the world? Contact Kyle (636-388-5102) anytime you need him!

If you are interested in helping serve the Student Ministries as a sponsor, or help lead events from time to time, contact Kyle for more information.
